Play is often described as the "work of childhood"' and in natural settings, it becomes a powerful means for growth and development. This session, presented by Audrey Rowland of Green Space Learning, will explore the various types of play- physical, imaginative, social, risky and sensory- and how each contributes to children's development. Participants will gain insights into practical strategies for observing, guiding, and extending play in ways that honor children's curiosity, wonder and independence.
